My first startup, Neron PropTech set out to open up property ownership to the Zimbabwean diaspora, letting people abroad buy fractional shares of renovated rental homes in high-density suburbs — turning remittances into real, income-generating assets back home.
The company is no longer operating, but the problem it tackled — connecting diaspora capital to housing and opportunity at home — is one I still care about, and much of what I learned building it feeds directly into my work today.
